Senior Pastor
Bob Roberts


Pastor Bob and wife, Beverly came to New Life in July 2000. They have been in ministry for over 30 years serving as Youth Pastors, Senior Pastors, and Foreign Missionaries.  Pastor Bob is an ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God.

The Roberts have been married for 34 years and have three grown children; son Aaron and his wife Tara, son Trenton and his wife Kayla, daughter Amber and her husband Josh. The Roberts have three grandchildren.  

Pastor Bob has a heart for the lost and hurting.  His messages each Sunday are solidly rooted in the Word of God giving practical ways to better the listeners walk with the Lord.  Pastor Bob has a passion to reach the world with the whole Gospel.  His global view has spilled over into this congregation as we have seen many go out from here into full-time service for the Lord, both in the United States as well as overseas as Foreign Missionaries.

Counseling Pastor
Jan Polidan


Pastor Jan has been on staff as the Community Outreach Director since August, 2001.  She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University.  Her Master of Arts degree in Counseling is from Regent University.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Michigan.  Pastor Jan develops and directs the outreach ministries of the church and community such as GriefShare, DivorceCare, DivorceCare for Kids, etc. She also serves on staff in teaching and preaching. Pastor Jan and her husband Tom joyfully reside in Fenton, Michigan. They enjoy five children and ten grandchildren.

Children's Pastor
Terry Bowen

Pastor Terry and Nancy Bowen are the children's pastors at New Life. Terry is an ordained minister with Elim Fellowship and has been part of the team at New Life since September 2000. They have three grown daughters and five grandchildren.

Pastor Terry has a heart to reach children with the message of the Gospel. Jesus saves! He is interested in seeing the lives of children changed for the better in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Nancy is the church office manager and works closely with Pastor Terry in the Children's ministry at New Life.


 
Music / Media / Sound
Trenton & Kayla Roberts


Trenton Roberts joined the New Life staff in March 2007.  Trent grow-up on the missionfield in the Philippines.  While in the Philippines the Lord began to birth a desire in his heart for music.    Through the years Trenton's desire for music has grown into a passion to lead people into the presence of God. 

Each Sunday morning in both New Life's services Trenton's sensitivity can be felt as he gently leads the congregation through praise, worship, & waiting on the Lord.  Giving all who are presence an opportunity to meet with Jesus on a personal level as they enter into the throne room and presence of the Lord.

Before coming to New Life as director of Music/Media/Sound Trenton served 18 months in Asia Pacific as a Missionary Associate with the Assemblies of God.  While serving overseas the Lord used Trenton's musical abilities to touch the lives of many.  Trenton is working on his B.S. Degree from Rochester College and hopes to return to the missionfield one day.   
Youth and Young Adult Ministries:  7th grade - 30 Something!
Pastor Tim & Heather Pike


Pastor Tim Pike,  became Youth Pastor in July 2008 following a ministry internship at New Life.  Pastor Tim graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. degree.  He then joined the staff of The Flint Journal where he worked for five years.  The Lord abruptly changed his direction, as Tim felt a definite call to serve the Lord in full-time ministry.  Pastor Tim received his ministerial licence with the Assemblies of God in 2009. 

Pastor Tim and Heather have a heart to reach out to youth and young adults with an emphasis on raising them up to be strong Christian believers and powerful in their personal witness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Tim and Heather have two daughter and are expecting a son in May of 2010.

International Ministries Pastor
Rose Cayabyab

 
Rose comes to New Life from the Philippines to serve as director of International Ministries and church accounting. Rose is a licensed minister in the Philippines with the Assemblies of God. She had served as second in command of ICI International Correspondence Institute before joining the staff at New Life.

At New Life, Rose, has Bible studies with Filipino's as well as others who join with them each Saturday. Rose also serves as secretary of the Philippine-American Association in Genesee County.

Rose has two daughters Michelle and husband Joseph and, Jennifer and husband Kit.  Rose became a first time grandma in August 2007 to little Joshua born in the Philippines.

Visitation Pastor
Maurice Anderson


Pastor Anderson is the founding Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship and has remained actively involved since its conception in January 1980. Pastor Anderson holds credentials with the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. He and his wife Dolores have been married over 50 years and have two grown daughters, Tabitha and Rebekah who are both lawyers. Rebekah is married to Robert Woods.

The Anderson's have a heart of compassion for those who are hurting. Pastor Anderson oversees all home and hospital visitation. This couple believes in the power of prayer. Pastor Anderson's gentle spirit and genuine concern is a real source of comfort to those who are sick, lonely or hurting. Dolores oversees the ladies' prayer each Tuesday morning.

New Life Childcare and Preschool Director, Jennifer Reid


Jennifer and her husband, Rich, joined the New Life family in February 2002.  The Reid's have one son, Dillion who is 12 and they reside in Fenton, Michigan.  Jennifer was hired as the director for New Life Childcare Center and Preschool in August of 2006.  She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Lee University in Cleveland, TN.  She obtained her Master's of Education degree in Curriculum Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2003.  Both Rich and Jennifer are involved in various aspects of the children's ministries at New Life Christian Fellowship.  Rich also heads up the Outreach Ministry Team from New Life that serves at Carriage Town ministries in downtown Flint and helps fill the pulpit at the Korean Presbyterian Church on Fenton Rd. in Grand Blanc.
