Life Challenge of Flint

The Life Challenge of flint is a one year Christian-growth program providing residential care for men with alcohol, drug, and other life controlling problems. This program reaches out to people 18 years of age and up from all walks of life. Some of the residences come from the streets, others from well established homes. Some are directed through the court system, others have never had a problem with the law. Some are married, others are single.

Affiliated with Teen Challenge USA, International, our goal is more than rehabilitation—helping men and women get clean and sober.  LC aims to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.  They believe that the root cause of addiction is sin which results in separation from God. Consequently, they seek to help men and women turn from their self-destructive ways and put their faith in God.  This program emphasizes Bible study, individual and group counseling, discipline, and Christian community. Life Challenge has campuses in Detroit and Flint. Both programs offer a highly structured environment providing students a unique opportunity to separate themselves temporarily from the normal distractions of life and give needed attention to personal spiritual growth.
